An answer to your question.

Well, hey, so, glad you liked the whole video thing. VLOG. I think the word VLOG sounds worse than BLOG. I think both of them sound like a venereal disease. I’m not sure which one would itch worse. I’m guessing vlog. So, here you go. Statia, now with more itching. Wait, no, that sounded bad. Making YOU more itchy. Giving you more VD.

I hope this means that I’ll like the way my voice sounds in another year or two. I really think you should come do projects at my house. Your house looks way more put together than mine does.

Well, except for my living room, with all of the paint swatches on the wall. I can’t get with the program on that, but I will help you paint furniture until the day is long. It’s rewarding to see the end result.

Funny – when I bought my house, I couldn’t WAIT to be able to paint whatever colors I wanted to (evidence of living in apartments with white walls for too long). After painting a bathroom and one bedroom, I never wanted to paint EVER AGAIN!

I seem to be a glutton for punishment, because I can’t stop. And then? Every five years, like clockwork, I get bored with the WHOLE THING and start over. And every five years, I swear that next time, NEXT TIME, I will hire someone to paint the whole damn thing. And then I get cheap.

Hooray for answered questions! I so admire that you actually take the time to put paint samples on the wall, btw. I get really impatient, declare that, “This weekend we are painting!” buy the color I think will work and slap it on. So far, I have only been wrong once, and I swear it was the brand/way the paint was mixed, not the color that I chose.

That said, I’m painting my kid’s new room in the next couple of weeks and have not yet selected a single color.
