Pretzel logic

Does anyone else ever try to “hold it” for as long as possible while their sweet child is sleeping? Because even though he’s been napping long enough, I’m completely convinced that no matter how quiet I am, the light breeze caused by my walking down the hall, will totally wake him up.

I swear it happens every time, and I have developed stealth like ninja abilities in being quiet.

Yes! And I’ve developed a special nap time sneeze that doesn’t make a sound.

Can’t say that I ever did. We made regular noise around our house while G slept so that he’d sleep through anything.

We were keen to just be ourselves and not do the too quiet thing, but luckily that was taken out of our hands. Our babies have been brought up in a house undergoing renovation – including drills, saws, concrete mixers, and hammering. They sleep through anything. A bomb can go off and all that will happen is that they’ll maybe just roll over.

of course – and I know where every creak in the floorboards are too. I’m sure I actually hold my breath while leapfrogging across their room and into the hallway.
