It’s backed up northbound on the 101.

One of the things the Mini got from my parents was the Fisher Price Learning Home, which at first he was like, “WTF is this Gramma? WHERE’S MY WII??” But he quickly got over it and he loves to play with it now. It’s pretty cute for toxic plastic. It has a little “radio” on one side that has “stations” and when you push one of them, it says, “It’s going to be bumper to bumper on the rainbow bridge.”

And I laughed and laughed. Because someone at Fisher Price, either doesn’t have pets, or they have a really warped sense of humor.

Hey Statia,

Rainbow Bridge is in Tokyo!

We had that for G and he loved it. We’ve since passed onto Kevin & Merrin, but everytime we go to their house he still plays with it. I don’t think I’ll ever forget the one that goes, “Counting! Counting! Counting is such fun. Count with me let’s start with number one. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and 10. Wasn’t that the best, I’d just love to count again!”.

There’s also a Rainbow Bridge linking Niagara Falls, Ontario and Niagara Falls, NY.

Oh no! We have the Learning Home, too, but I had no idea about the “Rainbow Bridge.” Too funny.

That’s pretty twisted. As soon as I read that, the first thing I thought of was my dog.

I think that’s the one Fisher Price toy we missed – how funny! I need to find / send you the talking plastic ball that says “ooooh – baby’s SO big!” when you press the button.

Rainbow bridge – ha!

I have a gift card I need to use at TRU, so I’m thinking this is what So.ren needs. That kid loves toxic plastics.

That’s hilarious. And wrong. But mostly hilarious.

That toy is really GREAT! My 6 year old even likes to play house with his girlfriend with it too. Heh. Never listened to the words though.

“opposites are lots of fun, in and out off and on, up and down and night and day, hello goodbye”

My cousins (1yr old twin girls) got the house for their birthday. Bumper to bumper is their favorite “station”. Embarrassingly (I’m 16), I know all of the songs, especially that one. It’s so bad, my aunt even sent the song to me via text message… And it is stuck in my head.

It’s bumper to bumper on the rainbow bridge
Open up the window to a colorful place,
red, yellow, green put a smile on your face.
Mail yourself a letter with a colorful look,
flip over pages in a wonderful book.
Say hello, good morning to a bright, yellow sun,
give the blue moon a wink when the day is done.
Open up the door to the shapes that are there,
Star, circle, triangle, and square.

Yup…I’m pathetic!
