Why we don’t have plants

by statia on December 20, 2005

Apparently in California, I can’t keep a Christmas tree alive. The 2005 Christmas tree has left the building. Once again, our tree stopped taking in water. This whole thing is a mystery to me because I swear to god I never had this problem back east. At this rate, I’m going to avoid any type of plant life in our house, real or plastic.

Ours is slowly dehydrating itself, too. In the beginning we filled it twice a day, now we are lucky to fill it once a day. :(

If it makes you feel better, our tree stopped taking in water two days ago. I guess it’s a good thing Chriskwanzakah is almost here.

Hrm…maybe it’s time to make that leap to the artificial tree? No water required, and just for fun, you could have the hubby go hide it out in some woods somewhere, and you two can go hunt it down and bring it home. Hell, that almost combines Christmas and Easter in one fell swoop.

Christer. Sweet.

Just discovered that you’re back! I’m quite a blog-slacker myself, but used to really enjoy reading yours.
