It’s a big building with doctors and patients, but that’s not important right now.

Last night was the Meester’s grand day out in our house. At around 8, he started puking, and pooping. And didn’t stop puking or pooping. I decided the hospital was probably the best place for someone in his condition. So off to the hospital we went. Probably a virus of some sort. He’s ok, but you know how it is, going to the emergency room. You’re there forever. We got right in, but soon after it got busy. It was the first time I was taking someone to the hospital, and not actually being taken to the hospital. Looking at my poor meester feeling like total shit, I felt for him. Being the patient sucks. It didn’t help that we had a nurse that rivaled the warmth of my grandmother, except with a carribean accent, and a doctor that probably smoked too much pot in the 70′s.

Suffice to say that we got home late enough that I wasn’t in any shape to go to work. I feel like I have a hangover. Meh.

Why is it that people with no compassion go into a profession that pretty much requires it?

Tell the Meester that all of us other women on the internet heard that he is in bed with a bug.

And to that we say, lucky bug! (And lucky Meeses!)

Seriously, hope he gets better sooooooooon!
