I get PMS 20 days out of the month

by statia on March 12, 2005

No, I’m not pregnant thankyouverymuch. I was simply looking at pictures of friends kids in kind of the less creepy photoshop way where you see what parts are whose and it’s just a cool concept. The “thing” I wasn’t going to get into is in no way related to pregnancy, but will still end up making me lose my mind in the end.

But let’s keep talking about babies.

This is my new to me niece (you can click to big). Yeah, isn’t she cute?

.

My sister in law sent me and the meester this picture yesterday. I didn’t focus so much on her laughing at the fact that she’s having fun on the swing. I focused on her sweatshirt and thought to myself: “Why would she dress her in a jacket that says “Honkey” on it? I knew that my eyes had to be deceiving me, because there is no way it said honkey on it. The phone picture made it hard for me to see that there are actually monkeys making up the word “honkey” so it actually does say Monkey on it. So now I feel like a total jackass that I couldn’t actually figure out the word monkey on a jacket, but the way the M is all crinkled on there, it looks like an H.

And now, it will forever be known as the honkey jacket.

Honkey??? I don’t think they sell such a thing out there in the childwear world. Ha!

And just so you don’t feel alone, before I read your description of your niece, I thought, “Why does her sweatshirt say “Honkey?”

Holy crap, I better take people with me after I have kids to buy clothes or I’ll make all kinds of mistakes.

Even after reading what it supposedly said, I *still* think it says honkey. Durn cute baby, btw.

Cute kid. Strange woman. Love you. :)

And that is why I must know you forever. You can make me laugh with honkey stories and I can make you laugh with horrid Texas phrases. And we can make the world pull up their pants, one maple nut at a time.

(Very looking forward to July!!)

And it’s not surprising, because after all, the kid *is* a honkey…

Honkey or Monkey… who cares? The fashion does not the baby make. And she is ADORABLE!!!! Those are the cutest, most edible cheeks and that NOSE! Oh! (And this coming from a girl who doesn’t want to have kids of her own, so that should tell you something!)
