We are all just prisoners here, of our own device

I think if Sphinxy and I are long lost sisters. We pretty much mimmic eachother in moods and behaviors. I haven’t really been in the mood to blog lately. I haven’t had anything funny or witty to say, and when I do, I’m too lazy to get to a computer, and then I forget about it, and sit here, in front of a blank entry.

I’m suffering from post vacation blues really bad. All I want right now, is to be back in Maui, laying on a warm beach, or swimming in the ocean. Soaking in the warm air. I’m also missing the east coast really bad. There is nothing wrong between the Meester and I. We really and truly couldn’t be happier, but I am not really happy being so far away from everyone. I feel so lost here, like I’m not in my element still. As much as I hate the snow and crappy weather, what I wouldn’t give to be running through my old stomping grounds, or just on the east coast. Just so long as I can bring the nice weather back with me. Right now, it’s something we’re working on, but for now, I pine for the east.

On another note, it’s the midget’s™ 1st birthday today. Time really flies. Happy Birthday kiddo. Smash that cake real good, mmmk?

Also, it is all the Meester’s fault that I am now coveting one of these. I bet you can’t guess what color I want?

One more thing, you’re not getting my flip-flops bitch.

I feel your pain. I’ll have been in Colorado for 9 years this May. I’ve been going through serious family withdrawals lately.

Voodoo PCs are awesome. Expensive, but awesome. Falcon Northwest also makes some good systems and will even custom paint them. They are also expensive as hell.

I went through the same thing when we got married and moved from NJ to South Dakota. It was HARD!! We really immersed ourselves in getting to know the local area and did a lot of sight-seeing, etc. and it helped… but it was still hard. I feel your pain – hang in there.

It was the best birthday cake smash EV-AH! Let me know if you want a pic later…after I wade through all 237 of ‘em. ;-) Thanks for the b-day wishes! xoxoxo
