And to drink… peru

Ahhh disconnecting from the internet is a beautiful thing. Sure, I still sat in front of my computer and played Sims 2 all weekend to get my sims up to par for the release of University expansion pack (which my lovely Meester already pre ordered for me), but I had no desire to surf, red blogs, talk to anyone, or even check my email. We had a three day weekend, and the only thing we really did was attend a wedding for a coworker. I haven’t been feeling all that great since we got back from Hawaii. Somewhere along the line I developed a lovely case of acid reflux and I gotta tell you, randomly puking up little bits of bile in your mouth isn’t fun. I’ve had a constant case of heartburn and it sucks. Even Pepcid isn’t working. (and I’m sure this is the point where my wonderful mother-in-law will tell us to get our asses out there and visit so that she can give me drinkable aloe. Which I hope is better than dragon poop, or whatever it is that they made the Meester take for his cold over Christmas)

What is it with the acid reflux rearing its ugly head lately? I’ve had a couple of “episodes” since late last week. And I know I’m definitely not pregnant. Hope you feel better, girlie.

Acid reflux. No fun, like, a lot.

Think you caught or ate something amiss in Hawaii?

Have you tried these (have ‘em in cherry, too)? They’re my only survival mechanism these days…
