Yo quiero martini

by statia on December 31, 2004

When my friend was getting her masters, all of the people that were in her classes, all pretty much went through to get their masters together. So, she made friends with a lot of them. One of the guys, was a big funny teddy bear. A lot of fun to be a drinking buddy with, and pee your pants funny.

We got on a roll one day when he started a bit about Mexican food and how it’s all beans meat and cheese. What’s in an Enchilada? Beans, meat and cheese. Taco? Beans, meat and cheese. Burrito? Beans, meat and cheese. While, I know that it’s not all the same, you can get those three ingredients and make yourself a little fiesta.

So Seester and I are going through some martini recipes and are realizing that most of the recipes call for the same basic ingredients, which makes it nice. We can have “variety”, yet, we don’t have to spend $400 bucks at the liquor store. Who knew that martinis were like Mexican food?

We.are.going.to.be.so.fucked.up. And that is the way it should be. It’s New Years Eve, and by the way, I hope you all have a good New Years Eve. I got out of work at 8:45 this morning*. The meester is still at work, and is not very happy. I hope they let him out early.

*Bitch, I know I wanted to watch SVU and I am now blogging. GET OFF MY BACK!!! I’ve seen this episode three times.

Here’s to hoping you don’t try to make martini’s out of beans, meat, and cheese. That would look really disturbing in a martini glass.
