Looks like somebody’s got a case of the Mondays

by statia on December 27, 2004

I normally take off for the holidays. I always like having the end of the year off to just chill out and relax. I regret not doing that this year. Christmas was good for us this year, and despite my Christmas post and all of my Christmas bitching, I really wasn’t bitter this Christmas. I mean, it’s my first Christmas with the meester, so how could I not be happy? It was a nice relaxing few days off. The meester took off on Thursday because he was sick, so I decided to stay home. The only time we left the house was to get some dinner and pick up a gift certificate. Other than that, I stayed home, in my pajamas feverishly searching for something on TV. Seriously, the one day I sit in and actually watch TV and there’s nothing on. Does TV take a day off on December 23rd?

I was also very SPOILT this year. I have an entire Sephora store in my bathroom, I’m sporting a new suede Coach bag, some new martini glasses, a peeenk poncho that’s “ho-made”, and many other goodies. All in all, I really can’t complain as 2004 has been the best year I’ve had in probably 5 years. I’m definitely looking forward to 2005, even though I’m turning 30. I hope everyone got what they wanted for Christmas this year.

It was truly the best Christmas I have had in a very long time. Love you, baby.

Well, I wanted a go-go dancer for Christmas, and didn’t get it. But over all, not a bad haul. Love that picture, btw. Very painful looking. I expect you’ll get nasty emails from the PETA folks about it.
