Guaranteed or your money back!!

by statia on December 29, 2004

The Meester and I spent the entire Sunday on the couch, watching horrible movies, which was heaven considering the last month was filled with running around, barely getting a chance to clean the house.

We saw this commercial for the Betty Crocker Bake N’ Fill cake pan.

Some Suggested Fillings:

* Fruit and Gelatin
* Mousse or Parfait
* Ice Cream, Pudding, Icing, and more!
* Be creative?the possibilities are endless!

Geletain. In my cake.

I then proceeded to laugh my ass off for a good half an hour at the “endless possibilities” for my cake filling. Shit, if you’re going to put geletain in there, why not be even more creative?

Chocolate cake and ground up canned ham.
Lemon cake with crab salad.
German chocolate and sardines.
Vanilla cake and pot roast.
Cinnamon cake and tuna fish.

See? The possibilities are endless.

But it’s guaranteed to delight you or your money back.

Or maybe carrot cake with cornish hen………….

my mom makes a cake with jello in it. it’s delicious. however, it is not a jello filled cake, it’s a sheet cake, then you poke holes in it and pour the jello over it (while liquidy). the jello firms as part of the cake, making the whole thing moist and delicious, and flavored like the jello.

I gotcha cream filling right HEAH…

You know, I bet that chocolate cake with pizza filling wouldn’t be all that bad.

Vanilla cake and pot roast.. I MIGHT be able to choke that down.

I’ve had the kind of jello cake Jaime’s talking about, and it’s yummy. And for bosses’ birthdays at work, they get this cake with whipped cream and fresh strawberries in the middle that’s droolerific (and that counts as fruit).

But for the record: strawberry cake with green bean casserole filling.

But see I saw that commercial and immediately wanted one and I only bake a cake like once a year…lol

Shit! You always crack me up!! That was so freakin hilarious, I was trying to read it to my husband and couldn’t. I couldn’t stop laughing.

How about just adding some chocolate sardines?

(BTW, they probably said gelatine because they’re not allowed to say Jello, being a trademarked name and all.)
