Her name was Lola, she was a showgirl

We were up and out early this morning. I do not feel like fighting the crowds today. I’m exhausted from our trip to Oregon, even despite the 9 hours of sleep last night. We ran out of garland, and coffee. After getting back, we spotted the cutest, fattest beagle. Funny how you get to recognize most of the dogs in the neighborhood. She wasn’t one of them, so we bribed her with treats, which, by her roundness, I didn’t think would be hard. We checked her tags, and her name was Lola. We called her owners and then drove her up the street to meet them. The meester got a huge kick out of her, and the owners were extremely thankful. I know how scary it is to have your dog get out of your yard. The main road leading up to ours is a pretty busy one. Our good deed for the day is done. I have karma in the bank again, and Lola, if you ever decide to take a walk around the neighborhood again, come back and see us.

Yeah! Another happy ending to a dog story! If y’all keep this up, you’re going to end up getting good reputations! :)

Was the G-man interested, or doesn’t he like the fatties?

She just might do that. We had a dog wander into our yard once. We checked the tag, did some research, called the owners, and got her home. Next time she got out, she came to us because she knew that we would get her home.
