Static blogs, here I come

by statia on September 17, 2004

What the hell has been up with blogrolling the past few days? I took the code out and if blogrolling goes back up, it looks like I’m back to static links. Unless someone comes up with something better. Blogrolling has gone to shit since tucows took it over.

I did the same. I think I’m going to try the Bloglines blogroll feature for a while.

Now come on, it wasn’t really that much better before tucows took over. Tucows just doesn’t have an excuse, it’s no longer one guy in his basement keeping the site up.

You can do a blogroll using them. it rocks. hard. changed my life.

is it pronouced “two-cows”? cause if it is then that’s just funny. (as you can tell I’m the computer illiterate shamole, ehh oh well)

It’s easy enough to put the blogroll in an iframe, so at least it doesn’t hold up the loading of the rest of your page. I can show you how, if you wish. I do it on my site.

Go for the bloglines option. Works really well for me.

Another vote for bloglines. That’s what I do except for those people who insist on not having RSS feeds.
