Yard Sale

by statia on June 20, 2004

There’s nothing worse and more time consuming than listing 25346475574 items on ebay. I wanted to put “it’s all my mother/ex mother-in-law’s fault that I have this crap to begin with,” in every single item description. Needless to say it’s all been stored away for quite a few years now. Most of it isn’t my style, except for the williraye’s which I only collect holiday editions of. It took me about 5 hours to gather inventory, take pictures and list all of the shit that I put up. It made me have to poop.

Buy my shit, PLEASE!

Heh, seriously, if any one is interested in the myriad of tchotchkes that my mother has inflicted on me over the last 7 years, you can take a look here.

I didn’t know eBay allowed scat. Heh.

Seriously, though, if you don’t sell the stuff, are you dumping it off somewhere? Giving it to charity? Adding to the nation’s growing landfill problem?

OMG. That’s some serious porcelain problem that lady has. What’s with all the chickens?

If it doesn’t sell, can we load it all in a oil drum, set it on fire, and dance around it in our skivvies?

I like the small lot of country stuff, but 10 bucks for shipping is a little steep since I live 2 counties over. But interesting none the less. I’ll have to think about it.

I just bid on your longaberger basket address thingy. If we buy more than 1 thing do you combine to save on shipping?

it reminds me of helping my mom clean out the storage room. it’s like, ‘you know how you said you got rid of this ten years ago? well, it’s still here. i’m holding it right now.’ i’m lucky i’m not as pack-rattish as mom.
