Enjoy the silence

by statia on June 13, 2004

The weekend was fabulous, as usual. I guess when you’ve got limited amount of time to spend together, you tend to get along swimmingly, as fighting would just have to suck. I don’t know if we could fight anyway, and honestly, I don’t want to find that out either. I’m exhausted, and probably mainly because saying goodbye is so tiring and takes everything out of us. We’re mopey, the house is too quiet, and I hate that. I once cherished my Sunday night alone times. Hell, I once cherished my time alone and the silence, period. I’m sure I always will enjoy some alone time, but for now, next month can’t come soon enough. Even knowing that I’ll be out there this Tuesday and Wednesday for a job interview, didn’t make walking away from airport security any easier.

I’d leave you with something funny, because I’m pretty sure that you’re getting sick of hearing about us go on and on, but I realized that the clip I was going to leave you with, is now safely stowed in the overhead compartment bound for San Francisco. Yesterday, I woke up still feeling queasy from being sick this week, so I grabbed the pepto. g-man, being curious, wanted to check out what I had. I know he hates pepto. My dog has a gag reflex. It’s got to be the funniest fucking thing I’ve seen. Knowing full well that pepto makes him gag, I put the bottle under his nose, and proceeded to laugh my ass off at him gagging. I proceeded to keep on doing it randomly throughout the day, and we got a video clip of it. No one can ever say I don’t know how to have a good time. Maybe you’ll get to see it tomorrow.

For now, I’m going to bed.

One thing is for certain, home does not feel like home without you.

Oh no you arent alone. I used to do it all the time with Monsterboy.

When feeling down putting the Mukaluks (dont ask my Mother got them for him) and watching him try to run and get the Kong with a cookie in it was hysterical.

HYSTERICAL I tell you!

Oh, how does Gromit like that fleecy thing? I was going to pick up one (they come in a bajillion different shapes) but never made the commitment.
