Rubber duckie, you’re the one

I have to confess. I have a mental illness. The mental illness of being slightly too girly, therefore, really attracted to any sort of body wash, or lotion that smells good. I ran out of body wash this morning, so I figured I’d run over to the mall at lunch, and pick up a few things at Bath and Body works. $46 later, I walked out with the body wash, the rejuvinating body scrub, the tightening cream, and the anti aging body cream. They must see sucker tattooed on my forehead upon walking in there, because I swear I see them rush to put up the “buy 3 get 1 free” signs. Vanity is fucking expensive.

Mmmmmm mango mandrin.

I’ve gotten more and more girly in my adult years. I think the times have changed and allowed us to show our girliness. In the ’90s, we were strong & independent. In the ’00s, we’re strong, feminine and independent – and to hell with any man who can’t handle all that girly goodness.

It’s not so much about the vanity for me. I am sucked in by the smell-goodness of it all. Damn you, Origins White Tea Body Souflee!
