Win a date with tad hamilton

by statia on March 3, 2004

Riddle me this. Two people, having fun, just enjoying eachothers company, and then the other just doesn’t call back? What the fuck is that? I got the whole, “yeah, lets get together tonight, and just hang out” line, but no call back. Are people just that rude? I mean, that blatantly rude? This was a couple of days ago mind you, and I don’t go chasing or playing headgames. I have no time or patience for that shit. Thing is, the guy was cool, and it was all going fine. Casual hanging out. That’s all. You’d think I said, “hey, lets run to vegas” at some point during our lunch conversation the other day.

This is the sole reason I don’t date that often. At 28, I just feel like we should all be beyond the games.

I’m sorry that he is being an ass. he obviously has no idea what he is missing. and that’s his loss.

This is the reason I only go out with friends. At least you know what they’re like first.

He’s missing out.

That sucks. :-/

I have this conversation ALL of the time… I am 32, and I thought by this time that the games that we played in high school would have end. Sometimes, I think they are worse…

Boy suck.

I get this from women a lot, too. I’m 32 and this crap SHOULD be over, but it’s easier to be rude to people now and not feel anything about it, I guess. People are just less personable these days.

Drives me nuts.

As a single guy, I say the reason is that we’re just stupid. Seriously. When it comes to things, I generally don’t ever intend on being mean or bad natured, I guess I’m absent minded. No excuse really but I do want to be nice and thoughtful but for me…it almost seems hard sometimes. Plus..and again, seriously, I think women can be really hard to read. They say one thing and mean another. This happens to me ALL the time.

Stick a pen straight through his brain.

Sounds like the people you date and the people I date come from the same place. Although I think its better than the “lets just be friends line.”

It’s a tough thing Sporty, you are a nice, thoughtful woman, and he is probably trying to live in this beer bong purple haze days. You are better without him.

Beats me. I think games get played on both sides. I know I’ve scared away more than one by folding all the cards on the table.

His loss.
