I know that report is here somwhere…… Oooh look, a butterfly

I’ve suffered from ADD for years now. Lately, my attention span has been off the charts. I don’t know if it’s just body chemistry change or what, but it’s driving me absolutely insane. I can’t complete a single task. I’ve been thinking of finding a doc to see if there’s something I can get on. I’ve tried ritalin and Aderall in my younger days, but I don’t remember if either worked. The latest for adult ADD is Strattera.
Is anyone else out there “special helmet” special? Has anyone tried this stuff? I want to see if anyone has any experience with it.

I think my dad’s on Ritalin. Looks like we share another charming genetic link.

BTW, back in the days when you went by your maiden name, did people ever mistakenly call you “Jamie?” One word: AAAAAUGGGHHHHHHHH!

yeah I know all about this one. that joke how many add kids does it take to screw in a light bulb- wanna ride bikes. Its about me! NOT helpful when trying to write a thesis!

as for the drugs- I went on ritalin a long time ago but I didnt notice any serious effects (except losing 4lbs). I dont know much about Strattera cause I havent taken anything since I was about 20. But it looks interesting.

anyways I would suggest figuring out with a psych (cause its them that gives the Rx) a time frame to test the drug though. And make sure you are ready for side affects, before you go on them. And give each one a fair amt of time. Ritalin made me nasty sick my first 3 weeks on it.

Like a TV Remote for the Brain

Evidently, Sporty has been dealing with ADD for years. Twenty years of mental channel surfing has had HyperWife often wondering whether I have adult ADD, but it…
