Hi Jinx

by statia on March 15, 2004

I’ve become a firm believer in jinxing oneself over the years. To many, I’m sure it seems like just like coincidence, but when you’ve seemingly taken a hit every time something good happens, you start to question the laws of physics. Ok, maybe not physics. It seems that some people always get the break, while others never get the break. I have to wonder who the hell thought that system up.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a pity party on myself. It’s more of a what the happened type of wondering.

That and I firmly believe now, that I must have kicked a puppy in a former life.

FORMER life? Why let all your past incarnations have fun?

Though might I suggest kicking kittens, rather than puppys? Except those little yappy annoying ones… you can kick them.

Maybe it will turn out that the puppy was a rabid pit bull and you’ll win the lottery. The one you don’t have to play; the one you win just cos you’re cute and have fancy red hair. Hey, I can hope for ya.
