can you read me now? Good.

My phone has one of those built in word finders for texting. I have a love hate relationship with this feature. I have to keep going back and forth because it doesn’t recognize all of the words, nor does it give me the ability to scroll through a possible list of words. It also doesn’t recognize any sort of swear word. I’m pretty sure this is standard throughout the industry. Just give me the damn swear words.

Damn the man.

isn’t there a way to turn that off? are you talking about the T9 feature? (I know that’s what it’s called on AT&T and Sprint) My Sprint text messaging came with T9 as default but I switched it to regular text so names and curses work fine : )

hell fart damn. mine doesn’t work either. Though it *did* get my name right.

and silly erica… don’t you know that way takes WAY too much effort? *laugh* if I can download a cheesy ringtone for 3 bucks, why can’t I get a sailor’s dictionary loaded in for, say, $5.95???

What I want to know is, is if these phones are so damned smart, why can’t you just speak your message and have it convert to text and send?

I hate that feature! I haven’t figure out how to turn it off. It takes me 5 minutes to write something that should take 1.

see? I’m so lazy I can’t even type your full name!!! silly ericaLYNN! *laugh*

besides, I like my text message swears to have a very tourettes-like spontaneity to them. this “three 3′s, two 8′s, three 2′s, two 5′s” to drop an f-bomb on someone just doesnt work! *grin*
