I’m here to pump…. you up

by statia on December 3, 2003

For 3 or 4 years, I was a gym rat. I went at least 4-5 days a week. In my early to mid 20′s, I developed asthma. Actually, I’ve probably had it all my life, but it got worse, and throw some severe allergies in there, and I had to eventually give up going to the gym. The allergies went away, but the asthma stayed the same.

For the first time in 4 years, I’ve been able to go back to the gym. For the last month and a half, I’ve been busting my ass. I’m finally just starting to see the results now, and it feels good. I’m lucky to have fairly good muscle tone, so it was pretty quick to get back to being toned. Age however, makes it a bit difficult to see the results as quickly as I once might have. That little stubborn bit of fat is mocking me. Yes, its only been a month and a half, but in the instant gratification society we live in, it’s a bit disappointing.

At least I’m being proactive.

WHy do YOU need to go to the Gym? From what I’ve seen, you look great. If you aren’t comfortable though, that is what matters. Keep it up, and congrats.

I to suffer from asthma and was not diagnosed until my late teens. I to live with it this day. However, Apple Cider Vinegar Honey and Hot Water are awesome for combatting the effects of asthma. In addition there is a drug out there called advair that has changed mylife. I can know play basketball and run up and down the court without feeling like I am going to die.

Good luck, and I hope it stays going great for you.

Going to the gym is very theraputic! I’d go nuts if I didn’t have that opportunity.

What kind of routine do you have at the gym?
