Feel this love

I’m so freakin’ tired today. I had half a mind to just sleep in and take a mental health day, but there’s stuff to be done, and less than two days in the work week, so I guess I can stick it out. When it’s raining and crappy, it makes it hard to get out of bed.

Yesterday, I decided to take a different and supposedly quicker way to work, as the major construction near the mall is done. Traffic was light and I made it to work in 20 minutes, even despite the accident that I half witnessed. A big bang at 7:30 will definitely wake you up. A car waiting to make a left plowed into the back of a dump truck about 5 seconds after I passed it. Dump trucks really don’t have much give to them. It looked pretty nasty. I was a little too far passed it to stop. I hate that stuff like that shakes you to your very core. I got to work shaking with goose bumps. Hello? How could you not see a big dump truck in front of you?

I also got a kickass CD from Buddha. New wave baby. I’ve been craving old school new wave the way I’ve been craving steak. Thanks man, you rock!!!

With all the business pertaining to my move, I totally missed the release of BNL’s latest CD. I’m so mad. I’m even more mad that they’re going to be playing in Philadelphia this weekend, and I had no idea until like today. It’s way too late for me to get tickets now. They’ll be shitty seats and I can’t afford to pay out the ass for good ones on E-bay right now. I be po. Pardon me while I take a brief moment to pout about it.

The new BNL album is awesome! I bought on iTunes for $10, a week before the actual CD was released. Pretty cool.

New tunes

Thanks to Buddha for the CD. I haven’t had a chance to listen to it yet but the songs on it look like a nice throwback to the 80s. Statia apparently got her CD too. Too tired to listen to…
