Sox and the Cubs?

by statia on October 7, 2003

Looks like I wasn’t the only one who couldn’t watch the end of the game. I had to shut it off in the ninth inning because I was so stressed at the close score. You’d think that them being so close every year and then wrecking at the end would make me tough skinned to the disappointment, but no. I don’t like watching the sox lose. Not to mention, I have enough stress in my life. Course, I couldn’t go to bed without knowing the final score, so before I drifted off, I quick sneaked a peak at the sports highlights. Take that Oakland!!!

You Yankees are next.

What? Me worry? Pshaw.

well, i’m not a big baseball fan … but i gotta love the red sox because they’ve had the crappiest luck. it’s nice to see them play hard!

i’ll always root for the giants over anybody else though …

I don’t get it. You’re a former New Yorker who lives in Philly and you’re rooting for the Red Sox?

What’s the red sox?

KB, I’ve been a red sox fan all my life.

That was a great game- I’m glad the Sox won, but man, I’m not sure if I was a hard-core Sox fan I could have handled that last inning. I’m a huge Cubs fan, and if that’s how our Game 5 would have gone, I would have gone into cardiac arrest!!!

Go Sox (my 2nd favorite team after the Cubs!) We’ll see you at the World Series!

Go Sox!!!
Beats rooting for the Yankees…plus it gives me an excuse to wear my fouled up Red Sox hat…
Everyone look out!!

Go Braves!

Good luck against the Yanks but I think we got the old double whammy going. First we’ve the got the curse of the Bambino and then we got the Sox against the Bambino’s team. But does it really matter? Sox or Yanks, either way Marlins win. (I am now ducking under my desk for reasons of personal safety).

Good luck! I am Cubs fan and I would love to see a Sox vs. Cubs series…I will keep my fingers crossed!

the only thing worse than being a “born” Red Sox fan ( ie born in New England), is to “choose” to be a Red Sox fan. God help you.

Go Cubs.
Go to gooseneck to read my thoughts on the cubs/sox series….
Otherwise nice page. I am a first timer but will be back.

Yariiiiiiiba Yankayz!

While I was disappointed that my adopted home team (Giants) didn’t make it, I’m *TOTALLY* stoked that my “birth” home team is continuing to do well! Go Sox!

Puhleeeeeeze don’t choke!!!! :-)
