Why in the name of all that’s holy would you pick 5pm on a weekday, during rush hour, to do construction on a major thorofare? Seriously, get a fucking clue.

You left out “on a game night”. ;-)

tricia September 8, 2003 at 7:03 pm

Just to piss YOU off. lol

mikey September 8, 2003 at 7:06 pm

because they can.

or, because they want more funding for the project, and if enough people bitch about the construction, then they’ll be able to allocate more money to that particular project. or something like that.

but mostly, it’s because they can.

Darnit! tricia and mikey beat me to it.

but if you think road construction there is bad, come to cincinnati. it’s horrific, and i’m not just saying that.

jim September 8, 2003 at 7:21 pm

hahah….meanwhile, the construction workers are saying: “damn it. why dont all these assholes take mass transit”!!

Kevin September 8, 2003 at 8:53 pm

Just like the Eagles – no one in Philly’s goin’ anywhere! :)

OOPS! Did I really say that?!!!

It’s the only way union members can convince people that they do ANY work.

in Pittsburgh they follow Philly’s footsteps…on a night at rush hour, just before a Steeler’s game they close a ramp from the West End bridge, to repaint lines…Pennsylvania, it’s not the Keystone State, it’s the (bad road) Construction State
