Ok people, it’s not considered cool anymore to have bad midi music blaring on your web page. If you’re going to have a crappy geocities page, at the very least, give people the option to turn it off. I know you want to show off your mad html skillz, but it’s not 1997 anymore.

Makes me want to beat myself repeatedly with a wiffle bat.

Testify, sister!

it’s just as bad as blinking text all over the place with huge fonts. it makes me throw up, i tell you.

okay, maybe not… but you get the idea.

being new to the whole scene, I know my site is generic and pretty fucking obnoxious. But it does not blare music. (at least… I don’t think it does)

Hell, I’ve been begging people to get rid of that shit since ’98. ;-)

Actually I find any kind of noise, music, or sound blurb to be annoying when surfing someones site.
