I’ve got sunshine

by statia on May 30, 2003

Today was our big office move. There was only a few of us in the office since we were on summer hours, and everything was packed. All we had to do was wait for the movers to load it up and we were off on our merry way. We can’t get into our new digs yet per the lease agreement, so there was no reason to stick around. Ten bucks says at least 3 of us drive to the old office on Monday. Another ten bucks says that one of those three will be me. Heh.

This is the first Friday it’s been nice in well over a month. It was sunny, 80 degrees, absolutely gorgeous, and only 11am when I left. I couldn’t very well pass up a day like today, especially not knowing when we’ll see that much sun again. I practically had the whole day. I decided to race home and load the bike up and hit the open road. A nice breeze, the sun beating down on my face. It was pure heaven. I managed to pack in 25 miles in under two hours and still have time to take g-man to the dog park. It was the perfect day. I’m content, and tired.

I wish every day could be like this.
