Feet firmly planted

I’m back home now. Finally. It was a busy busy trip. While it was fun, it was extremely tiring. National sales meetings are actually work, and then partying hard too. You make the most of what little free time you have by staying up way later than you really normally should. I’ve gotten 6 hours of sleep in the last two days, and drank like a fish. As for the killing kittens, well, there was no time. My company must be strong kitten advocates because they made sure that we were busy at least 12 hours a day, and then attending activities with the sales force at night.

What I saw of Arizona was absolutely beautiful. Our hotel was awesome. Brand new, and just really nice. However, I went to the driest state, and it rained the entire time. It was also freezing. Probably no more than 55 the whole time we were there. And cloudy.

My roomate, who is one of the coffee mafia was just dandy. She was like my mom. Making sure I was up in the morning, tying a ribbon around my luggage handle so that I could identify it on the baggage carousel. She was very good to me. She drives me crazy, but in that lovey smartass sort of way. Like when she called me pumpkin and spoke “good morning sunshine” in that sing songy voice when she woke me up yesterday morning after my late night romping with the boys, drinking. I think she’s evil and sadistic because she loved every minute of it. I told her that I wanted to hurt her at that particular moment. But hey, you don’t get to go to these big blow outs but once a year.

And I was extremely proud of myself on the plane. I was only a little scared, but that’s what three valiums will do to you. On the way home I was even better. I slept the entire time from being so tired. Come to think of it, I’m still really tired.

I’m hoping to post some pictures but I can’t seem to get my pc to boot up in anything except safe mode, no matter how hard I try to fix it. Anyone have any ideas?

Welcome back, hopefully the kids didnt break the expensive vase while you were gone. And as for the computer, give it a good swift kick! =] In all seriousness, does it give any type of message before going into safe mode?

I’ve “killed” enough “kittens” over the last 15 years to decimate the cat population on the planet … so don’t feel bad.

Have you changed anything recently on your PC? Installed any new software or hardware? It *might* be your display driver. Try setting your resolution to either 800×600, or if that doesn’t work try 640×480. What OS do you have? If you have XP, do a system restore, or possibly a repair…?
